Friday facts (+ meal diary)

1️⃣ my mom still hides our easter baskets if we’re home and it’s one of my favorite traditions ☺️

3️⃣ meal diary (on repeat)

@one1brands dark chocolate sea salt protein bar— half before/ half after workout 🤷🏼‍♀️
.
breakfast ✅ protein crepe (1/2 scoop @pescience snickerdoodle + 3.5 oz liquid egg whites) + @dannon two good vanilla yogurt + strawberries
.
snack ✅ two @outeraislegourmet sandwich thins with refried beans, laughing cow cheese wedge, deli turkey or chicken, spinach and everything but the bagel seasoning
.
lunch ✅: big bowl of 1/2 cup rice, turkey b****t tenderloins, kale salad mix, asparagus, zucchini and @bolthousefarms cilantro dressing

those are kind of my staple meals and then that usually leaves about 80g carbs/ 20g fats and 50g protein for the rest of the day (700 cals) that i have been being a little more creative depending on what we have going on. i hope that’s helpful🤞🏼!

Oh sunny day! ☀️☀️ what a beautiful day today to go outside for some training. 💪🏼 ik fietste rustig 100 minuten en liep vervolgens nog 30 minuten met 3x80m sprint. ik geloof dat de benen voorbereid op de zwemloop van morgen. mentaal ben ik mezelf nog aan het voorbereiden, zo’n eerste meetmoment van het seizoen is toch wel weer spannend!

How much do you run? 🏃🏼‍♀️

it’s weird for me to think that a year ago, i was toeing the line of the boston marathon (good luck to all running!!) 🦄 because i’ve been running less this year than ever. and when i say that, i have these conflicting feelings because i loved and needed running during the time it was my focus and wouldn’t trade the training or races for anything!
.
there is nothing i hate more than making certain forms of exercises superior to others 🚫 if you’re loving it (whatever it is), keep doing it. i just know that certain aspects of running weren’t helping me reach new 💪🏼goals, so i adjusted a bit and got the passion for training back with circuits/weights
.
i do love hopping on the treadmill for 2 fast miles at the end of a workout every now and then, and maybe distance running and i will fall back in love again— i always reserve the right to change things. i know it can be so oddly scary to shift, but it’s ok if you find yourself itching for something new 🙌🏼
.
i don’t think you have to choose one or the other 🏃🏼‍♀️🏋🏼‍♀️— i just know that the transition was hard for me, but really rewarding!
.
