looking to switch up your chicken routine? i got you covered!
these combos are simple and easy to whip up for the week. in the photo, i’m using my silicone, reusable, dishwasher safe to marinade the chicken to help cut down on my use of plastic for the environment and for me! ⠀
⭐️what to do:
1. combine ingredients in a bowl.
2. place chicken and marinade a bag.
3. marinade in fridge for 2 hours.
4. bake for 25 min 450 degrees for a 7oz breast

below are the marinades. each makes 1 serving, multiply for each chicken b****t you have.

🍋cilantro lime:
1 tbsp olive oil
1 lime
1 tsp honey
1/4 cup cilantro leaves chopped
1 clove garlic minced
sea salt to taste

🥥coconut curry :
1/2 cup full f*t coconut milk
1 tbsp red curry paste
1 tbsp curry powder
1 lime
sea salt to tase

🍈jalapeño lime marinade
1 lime
1 tbsp avocado oil
1-2 jalapeños, cut
sea salt to taste

🥜lemon ginger:
1 tbsp olive oil
1 lemon
1 tsp minced ginger
1/8 tsp red pepper flake
sea salt + pepper to taste

developing a better relationship with food means changing the way we think about food! instead of thinking of fast food as a convenient or good alternative when we’re in a pinch, think about how much time you’ll save if you stock your fridge up once or twice a week. in fact, you can even order food and produce online if don’t want to drive to the store.

and really when you think about it, getting in your car, driving to the nearest fast food place, sitting in line and waiting is longer than grabbing some fresh veggies and fruits for the fridge!

need some more filling options? a medium boiled egg only takes 4 minutes and if you boil a bunch at the beginning of the week you’re freaking set! (i’m obsessed with my egg cooker from amazon - life saver)

also items like a protein shake or a quality protein bar like @hemplete are perfect when need an easy grab’n’go! so here’s to challenging the excuses we have because our health is absolutely worth it ❤️

🧨vegan jerky from @eversoqwrkee is my go-to high protein snacks at the minute, especially the maple bacon flavour! ⁣

🍿popcorn is great for a quick snack, i usually just whip up a big batch for a few days. i just use a bit of non-stick spray to avoid the corn sticking. ⁣

🌰dates & nuts are my all time favourite! perfect combo of sweet crunchy heaven. ⁣

🍫bonus snack tip, put some nut butter in an open date & add a chunk of dark chocolate inbetween! try & stop tucking into them! ⁣

. 🌈 three ingredient pancakes!! i have been making these for years. they are the easiest, most simple thing in the world and they taste great! you just mix all the ingredients in a blender and cook in a pan. flip to make sure each side is cooked through and voila! you have a healthy, easy breakfast
